The Central Bank of Somalia (CBS) today, Tuesday, 30 September 2025, hosted stakeholder consultations at its headquarters in Mogadishu on the Draft Foreign Exchange Business Regulation.

The session brought together foreign exchange dealers to provide feedback and insights on the draft regulation, ensuring it reflects industry perspectives, aligns with international best practices, and addresses Somalia’s unique context.

This consultation marks another step in CBS’s ongoing reform agenda to modernize and strengthen Somalia’s financial sector regulatory framework, with active stakeholder engagement at its core.
